What is the fight for equality all about?
Seriously - there is no equality in the minds of people believing that crimes are justified for one reason or another.
Your heritage is no justification for a crime. Your heritage is no reason to be blamed for a crime. People that use these excuses and promote the division of the human race are the true criminals.

I have to say, ever since we studied "to kill a mockingbird" in school there has been a sudden rise in cryptofascists and the usual genitalia scribbled on the walls in the toilet have been replaced by crudely drawn swastikas, often facing the wrong way.

Equality and fighting for equality is actually fighting so that every body has the rights to live freely by it's conscience... We all have a culture we grow with and if that culture in the place it was naturally cultivated is respected then it usually has a mean of respecting all the members of it society... For example.. in north America...the only society that was Naturally cultivated was the Indians of north America. so fight for equality has nothing to do with crime... However the lack of equality usually produces crime... so if we all work to eliminate the inequality or imbalance of power we can help eliminate the need for crime... One big stupidity these days is... a person has to have a grade 12 diploma to work in a restaurant... that stupid expectation prevents people from getting work especially the ones who traditionally get these jobs..
