I have reflex of the urinary tract, which means I get really bad UTI's ALOT. so my question is, if my boyfriend uses KY warming lubrication is it "clean & safe" for lack of a better words right now. please no silly stuff. Thank you.

Update:

Ky is the safest!! It's water based so it's natural!! I would stay away from the scented lubes though!! And avoid douching, that could be an irritant!! Drink plenty of water and urinate before sex and after sex!!! I promise these things will help!! I'm a nurse and see this stuff frequently!! Good Luck!!! Candice

Because it is designed for use in that area of your body, it should be safe for you to use it. Just try not to contaminate the bottle by leaving the cap off or touching it to dirty surfaces.

I find that sometimes, the warming kind can irritate you. Try an organic one--it'll help you avoid any problems.

KY is safe to use, or it wouldn't be on the market. If you are that worried about it, don't use it and ask your Doctor.
