Where are the 'must see' places to visit in Ireland that are outside of Dublin?

I'm in Ireland at the moment, and have been for the past 3 weeks.

One thing that I find is a must is the Ring Of Kerry. Amazingly beautiful nature - I took four rolls of film that day alone.

Also, you must do the tourist thing and go kiss the Blarney stone.

I haven't been able to go there, but I've been told that both Mayo Co. and Sligo Co. is supposed to be amazing as well, so I'd recommend you do that as well.

Also, if you're into small cities, with a "soul" go to both Killarney, Kinsale and Cobh. Also, in Cobh you'll find a very interesting museum, with the history if the Irish, the immigration to America, the prison ships to Australia, as well as a small section about Titanic. Very interesting.

Also, me living in Cork while being here, I think you should pay Cork City a visit. Beautiful city, with a lot of interesting places to visit, and beautiful buildings.

One recommendation - whenever possible, get a guided tour. It might seem like a very "touristy" thing to do, but you'll get a lot of information about the different places, which you just won't get if you go on your own.

    Hope you'll enjoy your stay.

Killarney is the most beautiful town in Ireland, also a great starting point for trips around Kerry. Fly into Kerry Airport if you have the chance to...thats an experience itself...

Connemara, Cliffs of Moher, Dingle Peninsula, Ring of Kerry, Galway, Blarney Castle, Bunratty Castle, Cork, The Rock of Cashell is impressive...many to list. If I had to pick 3, I would say Dingle, Ring of Kerry and Cork (Blarney is close).
