What does a s-1 do in JROTC?

Same thing as in the normal active army S1 is personnel they handle paper work, pay, promotions coffee and donuts etc. .... Shadow Stalker

Shadow Stalker has the wrap up for the S1 if the person is being stationed there. If the unit is rotating through the "box" there they spend the time with there reports as well as ordering "new solders" so the "dead" can come back to the unit from the morgue as replacements. They stay busy OPFOR is good there and gets many kills. (good think the real terrorist are NO WHARE NEAR as good)

You have to make sure that the coffee is hot for the instructors. It does not matter whether you are male or female, you mission will always be forefront of anything else, the coffee pot must always have fresh coffee.

I think S-1 is the personnel officer.

As far as what they do in your JROTC unit, no clue...
