which come first, the chicken or the egg?

Really depends on your outlook... Well actually it can only work one of two ways. The creationist- The chicken came first because God created the chickens. Then they(chickens) laid eggs...and...more chickens! Atheist- Through a complex process of the evolutionary cycle and natural selection...blah...blah...blah....chicken mutant comes round lays an egg and eventually the first true chicken is born. Both ways somewhat come from the same point; the chicken in some way, shape, or form came first. Unless it was aliens, then the chickens were the ones who started earth, and eggs are just a complex disguised process of terraforming the planet for our true masters! They will come again! The chickens will claim their rightful rule as masters of earth! DOWN WITH KFC!!!

An open ended question and the answer will depend on which perspective you are looking at. From chicken, you get egg, but without the egg, there is no chicken. So, you get endless debate on this matter. So depend whether you are the egg or the chicken, the other naturally follows.

While some dinosaurs had live births (viviparous), many laid eggs (oviparous), and some resembled birds like the chicken. Below is an example of the Gallimimus, which was a Mongolian dinosaur. By the way, the vietnamese word for chicken just happens to be "Ga". So I'd say the egg was first.
