Why don't they sell 10 cigarrette packs in the U.S.A?

It seems that every country I've been to has 10 cigarrette packs except the USA... it's almost as if they want us to smoke more and spend more!

    What?? Do you mean 10 cigarettes in a pack? I live in Germany and I've never seen that. At least not with popular brands. They do however, sell cigarettes in 18 packs instead of 20. And the same brands will taste slightly different. They say that it is because Europeans and Americans have different preferences to the flavors but I don't know why the 18 count instead of 20.

    you have answered your own question, its as simple an answer as that, they are IN THE BUSINESS to make money. Americans seem to go overboard , wasn't it Marlboro that tried out a 25 PACK!? and the funniest thing lately in the USA I recently bought a pack of Basic menthol smokes from maker Philip Morris who had put a little advert for a smoking cessation drug.yeah right cause they have been FORCED to

    Years ago the army put 4 cigarettes in your C rations, and airlines gave away 3 pack cigarettes.
