Where can I go biking around San Diego to see some great neighborhoods and houses?

My girlfriend wants to go biking through some really great neighborhoods and see impressive houses, I'm guessing there are areas in Rancho Santa Fe and Del Mar, but don't know any specific streets. Where are the mansions in San Diego?

La Jolla, Coronado, but also the Sunset cliffs area. There are huge beautiful houses along the cliffs. Also Mission Hills and Banker Hills have some very nice properties and are not crowded so good for bike riding.

Agood biking adventure to see old huge houses would be On Coronado Island..Go to the Hotel Del along the beach for a scenic bike ride..You can catch a boat that will take you and your bikes accross to it...La Jolla, is another good place, Rancho Santa fe has alot of mansions..Missions hills near old town, has alot of old, old, big houses.....If really want to see some mamoth mansions go to Beverly Hills in L.A...About 2 hours north of San Diego...That would be your best bet.

Hey Joe: In a word: Coronado. I rode my bike around Coronado 30 years ago and it was terrific. Little traffic, flat, and beautiful neighborhoods with wide streets. Went back a couple of years ago, and found it to be pretty much the same. A bit more traffic, but still very scenic in town, along the beach and over by the bay. I hope to retire there shortly, as soon as I make my first $10 million. Maybe them I can afford a nice little fixer-upper. Don't forget to stop in the Del wher they filmed "Some Like it Hot." Still a very beautiful place.

For bike riding I would suggest Coronado. You can't really see the mansions in the Ranch...they tend to be far off the street. La Jolla is to hilly to enjoy on a bike ride.

Phil's BBQ in the events section section or Pat and Oscar's in the Stadium section. both are excellent and reduce priced. Sorry-those doesn't be seen rather large eating places, only large nutrition. attempt l. a. Jolla-There are some rooftop eating places there that forget the sea. also some on Coronado which have large environment and could no longer ruin the monetary corporation.
