Surfing in San Diego what are the best spots?
I am going to be attending SDSU and would like to know what spots I should look at when I move into the San Diego area. I come from Huntington Beach and surfing is pretty important to me. Anything like HB in SD?

I go to surf rider beach ( Oceanside) every saturday , it's similar to huntington ( wave hight) but nothing is exactally like another place.. they seem to have a lot of surf competitions there. I know when i lived in Carlsbad there were lots of surfers there to , I think pretty much all the beaches in san diego have surfers so just drive to the coast and park and you'll probably be able to surf..

Head South to the border, Imperial coastline gets great relaxing on a West/SW swell. quickly, hollow surf. sundown Cliffs is finished of sturdy breaks, noticeably while everywhere else is last out. OB is relaxing, you acquire the Pier, Avalanche and Jetty smash. Mellow Crowd. you be attentive to, fantastically much everywhere is extra powerful than the place your at now! lol a lot and lots of spots north and south. I used to surf northern Baja alot interior the ninety's...I heard it is fantastically risky anymore even with the undeniable fact that. Drug wars and Bandito's.

Go to the beach where the Navy Seals are training in Coronado. It will give them a target to sneak up on while they are swimming through that cold, ridiculous water.
