Personal look inward?

Now that Imus is fired for his ignorance, can you condone supporting Rap and the suggestive lyrics that belittle race and women? In good faith, it is wrong on both sides, both Imus and Rappers alike spread racism. and there is no "artistic" excuse either!

To be honest, I have never condoned Rap music. Not only because it belittles race and women, but the language usage in it. Our education systems have enough problems trying to teach our children how to speak properly, without having Rap artists showing them something else....As far as racism, it is a sad fact, but you will never get rid of it....There is always going to be someone that will pull out the race card to try and help them. A perfect example....Al Sharpton, J. Jackson, and the Duke Students...There entire rant was based on race (female black, students white). Even though they are innocent, the last year will follow them the rest of their lives....

I have never supported Rap music like that, I despise it. It's a sick, sad, part of our culture: those horrible lyrics. I can't even flip through the radio stations in front of my children anymore.
