What's happening to our country?

Oh nothing, just flushing what this country was founded on down the toilet. Next step, throwing someone in jail for what they say or practicing religion. Next step BAN EVERYTHING! Maybe if we BAN EVERYTHING, then no one can ever be offended. Free thought and free speech are dead! May as well say that America is on its death bed as well because we are losing everything we were founded upon.

Blame the first lawyers who brought lawsuits for someone being 'offended' by another's words. I don't mean slander or libel, things that go beyond a few comments, but "oooh, I don't like that I'm being demeaned, even if it is a joke. I'm gonna sue!". Man, that sure set the ball rolling, huh? Now everyone is on alert. Say the wrong thing and whammo! Lawsuit. Not that I'm condoning what Imus the Idiot said, he's a paid employee out there on the airwaves and has to accept the consequences of his actions. But for Jesse and the Fat Man to get involved, enough is enough.
