Now if you say something offensive, you go to rehab or you violated someones civil rights. Since when is name calling an addiction or a violation of civil rights? Appropriate or not, I am allowed to say what I want when I want....*****!!!! Crap, now I've got 30 days in a 12 step program with my lawyer.

many countries are getting more and more freedoms of speech so it's not really that bad... my guess is you are from the USA where freedom is becoming much less popular then safety, you are probably best off just moving to one of the countries that is heading in the opposite direction (south africa comes to mind...)

It's officially over.
You can no longer say something that offends someone, or goes against what everyone believes.
That's not freedom of speech.
