Depends on the apartment community. Some will allow you to rent for a lower credit score if you put down 1 month's extra rent as a deposit - others will deny you outright.

If you know your credit score, then I would say at least a 620 score to lease with no extra deposit - but again, it depends on the apartment community and the service they use, as well as the credit reporting agency. Ask them.
