Anyone remember the school house rock clips during sat.morning cartoons back in the early 70's?

Girl those things helped me with many a school assignment. In Middle School my teacher assigned us to memorize the Preamble. I was the only one in class who know it because I learned it from watching school house rock.

And the funniest thing is I went to do volunteer hours at my daughter's school and walked into her classroom and they were sitting there watching that same one. Her teacher said he wanted them to learn the Preamble by heart. The kids thought it was so funny when I stood in front of the class and said it. Then told them I learned it the same way they are now.

I loved those clips. Still sticks in my head after 30 years.

You can actually download these on iTunes now under the TV Shows section - only problem is that you'll pay a stiff $1.99 per 3 minute video. Cheaper to buy the dvd's but if you are an iTunes junkie like me- a fun nostalgic thing to download.

Oh yah I undergo in recommendations. I extensively utilized them at the same time as i replaced into training 4th grade. I truly have between the CDs sitting less than my computing device table as we talk! astounding how putting each and each of the info in a touch jingle/music by surprise makes it stick.

Schoolhouse Rocks! i bought them a while back for my son and what a blast from the past!! it actually helped me remember the pre-amble to the Constitution

Yes, Yes, Yes, I loved them as a child. "I'm just a bill, and I'm only a bill....," "Lolly, lolly, lolly get your adverbs here...". We found the DVD at our local library here and my children love them.....
