another tax question?
okay.. what if I spent alot less than I made... is that good?
I thought someone told me I would get a better refund if i spent more than i made... but after actually my receipts.. I didnt.. I thought for sure I would... but didnt.

If you spend less than you made then you have money in your pocket. This is good. There's no correlation between what you spend and the taxes you owe. Taxes are based on your pay, not what you spend. One way to get a bigger refund is to have your employer take more out of your paycheck in taxes, then you can file for a refund the next year. But I don't know why anyone would want to loan their money to the government for a year, interest-free.

If you spend more than you make, you will eventually run out of money. I don't suggest doing that.
