Why are there so many "christians" on here challenging everyone to prove or disprove religion.?

It's all about people wanting superiority over others who don't believe like they do. It's really foolish and a waste of time and energy.

I have been a devout, practicing Muslim for 33 years. I do not apologize for that, and I don't believe in challenging anyone regarding their beliefs. I'm not the least bit worried about other peoples' salvation because I'm not the judge. Almighty God is The Supreme Judge Who knows our hearts and minds best. That alone should bring us joy and peace in our lives.

I guess the same could be said about atheists. WHY do they try so hard to get a believer to justify their belief and faith? And why do you keep failing to offer examples of in this so-called "insecurity" you claim they have? Think about it. If you believe in witchcraft and working majik and such, and I don't believe at all in the existence of such things, would it make any sense at all for me to get worked-up over something I didn't believe in, and constantly ask you stupid questions about why you do? Who would be the insecure one? So again, why do so many "atheists" feel so insecure that other people believe in God and His Word? Most Christians could care less. I'm a believer and I care not at all if you do or don't believe. What about believing in God so terrifies you?

Maybe I don't understand it (since I am an atheist) but it seems odd to me that so many Christians on this site seem so concerned with proof. After all, if there were definitive proof either way about their deity, what would be the point of faith?

Yes they are and remember that a lot of what Christianities beliefs are were taken from the old religion although most Christians probably do not even realize how much.

I'm the only one I've ever seen and,no,nothing insecure;just payback. Atheists are constantly demanding "scientific proof" of a Supreme Being. Never noticed? Where ya been, farmer,sleeping in the barn?

People are like this, because they think their religion is the true religion and want to prove it to all who will listen! God loves all religions, just as He loves all people!

I think the Bible does a pretty good job disproving itself, seeing as how details of the same things, such as genealogies and head counts, change from description to description.

Nope! We in fact have Eternal Security!!! "Religion" needs to be not only Challanged, but Exposed for the Fraud it and its' Creator Satan truly are!!!! More heinous crimes have been committed in the name of "Religion" than for any other cause!!! Christianity is NOT RELIGION so in the future please don't lump us into the "Religous Catagory" that U wish to act as Judge over, Thank You! John
