Favorite finger party food?
Help guys. I would like to throw a party. Could you list all of your favorite finger foods you like to see at parties?
Describing them would be helpful too! Thanks.

Bacon wrapped water chestnuts I'm really not sure all the amounts because this is my mom's recipe and I don't know where it is. But basically you take water chestnuts and wrap each one in a half (or whole, depending on your preference) slice of bacon. You do as many as you need/want and then stick toothpicks in to secure them and people will be able to pick them up by the toothpicks. Put them all into a baking dish that can go into the oven. Then mix a glaze made from red wine, ketchup and brown sugar and pour over the water chestnuts. Then bake at 350 degrees until the bacon is cooked and crispy. They are the most amazing things you will ever put in your mouth and definitely the fastest things to go at parties. MMMMMM I can taste them now.

You want to cover the basics and serve something from each of the following categories: sweet, sour, salty
If you are planning for this to serve as a meal, definitely serve something like little ham sandwiches, Swedish meatballs or cocktail franks in sauce or wings.
If this is not to serve as a meal, you can skip the heavier things such as above and just go with raw veggies such as carrots, celery, broccoli, cucumber slices, mini tomatoes, etc and serve with a dip. Ranch dressing makes a good dip and is almost always liked.
For salty, chips and dip or peanuts are good.
For sweet, you could serve a variety of cookies or cupcakes.
Sour is taken care of by serving pickles.
Fruit chunks such as strawberries, pineapple or grapes are light and refreshing for variety.

Deviled eggs. Crackers with a cheese dip or even nachos. tater chips. little smokies with BBQ sauce. Pig in a blanket (smokies wrapped in pastry) . Vegi tray ie. celery, carots, etc.
Any kind of sandwiches and use a cookie cutter and cut them out in any shapes you'd like. You could even use tortilla's and make wraps.
