Does anyone know how much a single fare from Dresden to Prague is by train?

The Deutsche Bahn (www.diebahn.de) or German Train Company, has tickets one way from Dresden to Prague for 26,80 euros, or they have a "sparangebot" or "special offer" from 19 euros one way. The offer for 19 euros is available until it is sold out. If you know the dates that you want to travel for sure, I would book in advance. You can reserve tickets in advance on the deutsche Bahn website, or you can buy tickets at any "DB" travel center (in most major airports and at all train stations.

I heard from very informed sources that there is also a way to get to Prague from Dresden that involves local transport across the border and switching trains once in the Czech Republic. The price for this is a little bit over 19 EUR one-way. Ask around in Dresden, people will be able to tell you the details.
