I would just say get a new computer, everything is so old you would be wasting money buying a new modem, or a motherboard that has the ethernet port build in. Save your money, and buy a new computer.

You need to buy a modem to plug your cable into, then the modem is then plugged into your computer. I will stop here with the explanation. You can get the modem most any where. through your cable provider. Target has them now. Or you could ask someone at Circuit City or Best buy. Good luck.
