On Who Wants To Be A Millionaire, does Meredith Viera know the right answer?
It there something on her screen that tells her what the right answer is before the person guesses, or does she not know until the player says "Final answer?" Just wondering, thanks

they don't tell her but she has to know a lot of these answers. It is surprising to me how she can keep a straight face when she is talking to these people. You would think her voice would crack or something. When the person says final answer that is the que for the control room to flash the correct answer. They take their time for drama sake.

I heard her tell the secret, it doesn't show up on her screen until the contestant says Final Answer, it is the clue for the person off stage to allow her to see the right answer.
