blu ray aquarium / fishtank discs??

can anyone tell me if there is a disc like the one in the link in this question? but the one I am looking for is blu ray and not hd dvd. it looks like a great Idea and I would just like to know if anyone is aware if there is a disc like this available or in production but in Blu ray format and pal (european) region,

    I don't know, but offer the following comment.

    Blu-Ray disks are more expensive to produce since, unlike HD DVD which can be produced on an upgraded "normal" DVD line ($1M), require totally new equipment ($1.7 M). Furthermore a HD DVD line can produce 40,000 disks/day while the Blu-Ray line only produces 10-15,000. As a result most European content producers/studios are choosing to support HD DVD not Blu-Ray.

    Given the limited demand for this type of disk I suspect that HD DVD is all you are likely to see ... particulalry in PAL format.

    That all said, if it were me I'd address the question to the firm who produced the HD DVD version to seee what they say....
