Mazda RX7 1985?

OK...I have an 85 Mazda RX7 and the thing is ok except from time to time, some times more often than not, it "surges" I am not sure how else to describe it. But this only happens when I reach 40 MPH or more and does not happen everytime, but more and more lately. Is this possibly a problem with the fuel line or possibly the mix of air and fuel? Anyone know? Or anyone have car with similar problems?

Antique Mazdas need love too replace the fuel filter first it's under the car. Clean air filter might help make sure the mechanical choke cable is working properly. Then it's time to find an old MAZDA Technician. Distributer plug wires and correct spark plugs Fuel pressure and corect carburator functioning should be left to a technician.

check fuel filter and fuel pump then blow fuel lines out clean air cleaner or replace with new one if it still does it after doing this look for water in fuel tank clean tank if it has water in it add 1cup of metho into the tank this will get rid of the water and not harm the car or the engine. good luck
