Shouldn't people that don't agree with some of the requirements for a job find a different job?

A news report says that some Minneapolis cab drivers refuse to give rides to people with alcohol in their luggage. They do this because of religious reasons. Shouldn't they find a different line of work if they want to be judgemental of others, or if their religion forbids them to carry out the basics of the job they are in, rather than to strand or refuse to do the job?

Are they independent contractors or employees of a service. If they are employees of a service, it depends on what the service says. If their employer allows them to refuse service too any one for any reason, then it's up to them. If they are independent contractors, then it's up to them. They make their money from there fares, so it's up to them to take on the fares right. I may not be seem fair to you, but we do live in a free country and they can choose not to transport alcohol if it is against their religion. Find another cab, I'm sure other cab drivers have no problem transporting alcohol, or popping the cork with you if you so choose.
