A few months ago a brought myself a sit up bench, because like you I was quite slim but not toned. At first I found it really hard to motivate myself because it was quite hard work and after the first few sessions my body ached all over like my stomach area had been a punching bag. Although it hurt like hell everyone said to keep going, and I did 3 months later I have gone from doing 20 sit ups every other night to doing 250 5 nights a week with other stomach crunches like Pilate's and also a 2 mile run most nights. My abs are looking great and I feel great too, and all with out going to the gym. My advise would be to get a good pro sit up bench, with your stepper and rowing machine you should get that toned tummy quick. The hardest thing is having the will power to keep it up

Not really but they will help other areas. Buy a gym ball, they are only cheap but you can do every exercises needed to tone your tummy. Do 4 sets of 25 to start everyday and the same for any other exercise on the ball and then add more when you feel happy with that.

In no time you will feel your abbs, good luck

If you can handle it, crunches! Well I'm a guy, but crunches apply to your situation too. I never had a "tummy", but within 3-4 weeks, I went from a flat stomach to a 6 pack, hard as ever. Just be careful to not overdo it, you'll be sore, and feel horrible.

Get a bicycle and ride it hard and fast until you are exhausted and then ride it back home and take a shower. You will be amazed in a very short time at the improvements in your physique. You might get one of those 'baby back carriers' and carry a kid in it while you bicycle. The kid will enjoy it and you will have the same or even better results.

Buy a Fitness magazine. They publish a lot of exercises that are easy to follow and you can do them at home. Also, you might want to consider buying a Pilates tape specifically for the abs and follow its exercise regimen. I tried in the past and it definitely flattened my ab area. Good luck!

Why did you post this in the pets section? It doesn't belong here! I'd say try an exercise ball

lol wrong category... but sit ups!! Since your tummy is already slim.... sit up will work girl!

I was hoping to get advice on a fat tummy lol

everyone considers me slim.. but I know my tummy sticks out.. it hasnt always.. ( no, Im not pregnant lol)

but I HATE exercising!!! and I've heard if you do sit-up with a belly buldge.. that it will only put muscle under your fat... anyone know.. sounds very logical to me.
