Where can i find up to date precious metal/mineral geological surveys?

I would like to know where semi precious and precious metals/ minerals can be found in scotland, and whether there exists recent maps detailing localities where they have been found previously.

    British geological survey will have all the geological and mineralogical maps for UK (and many commonwealth and foreign countries)
