What is better Xbox, PlayStation 3, or Nintendo's Wii for the new seventh generation of gaming systems?
Pretend your are talking to a complete idiot...well, maybe not complete. I did play Pong and Space Invaders a few times in the disco part of the 70's. :)

The XBox 360 does have the best library of games available right now, but that will all change once the big-hit titles for the PS3 come out. Games like Final Fantasy XIII and other loyal Playstation franchises bring the promise of true next-gen gaming to the PS3. The Wii is the most fun system out there and stays true to Nintendo's attitude toward the gaming world. Despite what they say, the Wii is still geared more towards kids than adults, even though there is an internet feature. There are currently no good games out for the Wii, except for Zelda: Twilight Princess, but that is scheduled to change by the end of this year, with new Mario Party and Super Smash games.
So the PS3 is the best system, followed by the 360 and then the Wii. In terms of game line-up, I'd have to rate it PS3, Wii, 360. Overall, the PS3 is THE system of next-gen and truly is a wonderful machine, that costs 599 US dollars. The Wii is the best buy, due to its relatively cheap price and limitless possibility for fun. The 360 is just there, and I would not recommend buying one now if you don't have one already. The only good prospect for the 360 is Halo 3, and one doesn't warrant buying a new system, although Halo comes close.

If he is between 6-13 years old, get him the Wii. If he is older, get him either the PS3 or Xbox 360. If you don't have a hd TV, I suggest you to get the Xbox 360, all that extra money for the PS3 wouldn't be worth it if you only have a standard TV. If you do have a hd TV, there is another way to narrow it down. If he has the PS2 already, get him the PS3, so that his old games will still be compatible. If he has an Xbox get him the Xbox 360 because his original Xbox games will still work on the 360. If he has both, get him the PS3.

I'd prefer the PS3 but just becasue you can play CD's dvd's blue Ray discs and ( the best part about it!) even go on the internet! But you better start sving up because it's 700 BUKCZZZ!!! But the nintendo Wii's alot cheaper and it's really cool. The xbox, I'd have to say that it's ok but thats getting to be old, so if you want something desent, i'd prefer the PS2 for 120$

The Wii, hands down and no questions asked. Unless you are someone who thinks graphics are the only way to go, then the Wii wins every time. Sure, I must admit the PS3 has larger then life graphics but, be honest, what are graphics if there are no gameplay? The Wii is the most perfect of the three, and the PS3 can't even BEGIN to compare to it. Nuff said.

The PS3 is the ultimate new age gaming system. The Wii has child games and bad graphics.
