how soon before yahoo answers are a thing of the past?

we all heard the lady!!!!! some people really value this site for help, while others abuse it, please stop with the ABUSE.... and answer the questions in a proper manner...thankyou!!!!!!!!!!!!

That's nice Ann, but a jerk does not care about that. Its like a Xmas present that is broken a month later. They do come and go but the the bad servers and lousy programs is going to shoot this thing down before some punk with a dirty mind. I have actually seen something that even shocked rock hardened me. Y just has to be faster on the draw. Most of the complaints are about it taking so long to axe the garbage not the fact that it surfaces from time to time.

You get an E for effort.

I hope it doesn't go away. I'm having way too much fun. Met some nice, interesting people, like YOU. You've helped me out a bunch and I want you to know how much I appreciate you.

But parents should monitor more of what their children are doing. I would never leave my daughter when she was young alone in front of the computer without periodically checking in on her to see what she was doing.

And I will try to follow the rules a little better in the future. Thanks for the reminder.

I wish the old Yahoo Message boards would come back. Yahoo Answers is silly. People who answer Yahoo Questions pretend to be experts on subjects that they don't know about providing information that they don't fully understand to people that are too dumb to (go to a doctor - read a book etc) to find the information that they need from a legitimate source.

Yahoo Answers is silly. At least with Yahoo Message boards you know what you were really dealing with.........

BTW - Because of Yahoo Message boards, I met the fabulous Kimmie and she is truly wonderful right baby !!!

Actually, I think that Y!A is here to stay. I remember there are kids on here but please, many of those kids are more savvy to things than the prude supervisors give them credit for. If they can use a computer and they can type, and they actually spend time on this site, I surely doubt words such as a ss, or the f word, or whatever, are going to traumatize these kids. I mean, how absurd is it to play net-nanny for these on-line users, and then go rent "Saw" for them at the video store? I mean, really!

Parents should be supervising Internet time of vulnerable kids Yahoo is not their babysitter. This might become a money site getting rid of some rif raf but it won't shut down completely moneyor no money.

Ann, it seems that things have been getting rough here lately, I have a stalker and have had to stop e-mail and IM because of it. I am completely enjoying Y?A and I don't want to lose it. Hope these fools listen.

The Yahoo ans community, that is we all as such should take initiative to avoid this. There is the option of 'Report Abuse', so lets make use of it.

i agree with you!! just because they say "ADULTS ONLY" that doesn't mean a thing!! if anything, a title/disclaimer like that is only going to get youngsters more interested!! yahoo should send everyone another copy of their rules & guidelines!!
