Between these 3 bikes, all of them have pros and cons. These 3 bikes are sportbikes which feeds on petrol like a thirsty camel.

All of these bikes nowadays comes with fuel injection, chip-controlled throttle, inverted forks, motoGP-styled / underseat exhaust, ram air. However here are the differences

The Yamaha R6 '07 is the best for aesthetics. The sharp angular fairings is said to cut the wind like a sword. The frame is light and handles corners well. If you are enticed by this R6 model, the 2007 model comes with chip-controlled throttle and slipper clutch( costs $700 for aftermarket slipper clutch). However, I do not really enjoy this bike because it felt too light to go speeds above 200.Good point is that parts are easy to find. Lower depreciation value.

Next, the Gixxer. Suzuki's 2007 model now comes with fierce motoGP style exhaust and 3 preset drive mode buttons (race, wet track and street). The chip inside controls the torque and horsepower of the engine for your different riding styles so you'll save a bit of fuel while cruising and give you that extra boost while on the track. I find that this bike is not as sharp when handling corners compared to the R6 but definitely more stabile at breakneck speeds. Parts are also easy to find. Higher depreciation rate due to radical annual model changes.

CBR600? I have not ridden this bike but friends say they are just as good as the other too. Honda is known for it's reliable engine...but not the electronics. ;-)

Odds and ends, I am getting myself either a Suzuki GSXR 750 '07 or Yamaha R6 '07 end of this year. Make your pick, see what you like, test out what you like. Get a good deal, enjoy the ride. :-D

I agree that the Triumph Datona 675 is the best bike in that class, but you won't find a used one, at least not for a good price. The CBR600F4i and CBR600RR are the best street bikes out of the group. They will be the most comfortable and they have very nuetral handling. The Yamaha is the best race bike, and the Suzuki is somewhere in the middle. The Yamaha and Suzuki will be a bit quicker than the CBR, but the better rider will win most drag races anyway. I would get the Honda because I mainly ride on the roads, and Hondas are known for reliability and quality.

FWIW, I have been looking at 600s for a few months, tried riding a few bikes and sitting on many, and I'm in the market for a used F4i.

I'm the "weekend rider" who also commutes in good weather, and I like taking trips of 100 or 200 miles. A lot of bikes have a riding position that's just way too aggressive for me for trips like that. The F4i is nice...not a cruiser, but not a medieval torture device either.

I know a lot of people who recommend F4is for those who ride for fun. I just don't race on tracks, so why buy a bike meant to do that a few milliseconds faster than the next guy at the expense of comfort?

as for me I have sat on the new 600rr and all the others except for the trumpet and it feels the best I also like the pearl white paint job. It will stand out from the others. Im not into what everyone else has.

I also like the 636 kawi in the titainium blue and that bike rips the under seat exhaust is a cool feature on the cbr and the kawi

they will all be so close in the fields you mention comfort is what you want when your comfortable your fast

They are all really great bikes, and very competitive with each other. Some say the Yamaha & Suzuki have the edge on the track, but Hondas win all the time too. Overall, the Honda is probably the best in terms of comfort, speed, handling & reliability. Honda builds the best motorcycle engines -- period.

Trying to get him to give it to me....lol It is all up to what you like and want not what anyone else think. Test ride them all before making up your mind. Good luck Have fun and Be safe.

At that level, the differences between each of them are very minor, and it comes down to personal preference, aesthetics and ergonomics.

As long as it's not your FIRST bike, take your pick. If it IS your first bike, it's been nice knowin' ya.
