What kind of degree should I get, what should I major in, and what college should I go to become a diplomat or a member of the United States part of the security council?

Thanks

You have a long ways to go to even consider being nominated as a diplomat or member of the Security Council. A very long ways of paying your dues as you attempt to climb the ladder in a very political arena.

Get a degree in politican science with a minor in public relations and commucation, plus get very proficient in at least one language other than English.

Having a college degree is not an automatic in to most jobs unless you have major juice in the job field you want. Just getting your foot into the door is a major endeavor!

The college you attend, the grades you get, and your involvement in the community and political issues will affect your getting that foot in the door. Good luck
