How do you find out your postal code, not zip code..?

It's the same thing- some countries call them postal codes and some call them zip codes. Your local post office will be able to tell you- and there's probably a link from their website. Some countries list them in the phone book.

In the US, postal codes are called ZIP codes--a bit of public relations on the part of the post office, to make one feel that using them helps our mail to zip along faster.
Contact your local postal facility, or your postal authority's internet site. A good all-purpose site to find your country's (& other people's countrie's) internet site is "Frank's Cumpulsive Guide to Postal Addresses" http://www.columbia.edu/kermit/postal.html

Go to the post office and ask. Look in your phone book it's sometimes listed. Check out a letter that you received it'll be on that.

In the UK, you can check on the post office's site - see below. At the bottom of the page, there's a 'check your postcode' link.
You have to register but it's free.
