Need help on losing weight fast! Please read to understand!!?

ok, i'm a few weeks away from my finals in college and am rarely not studying. I don't really have time to exercise properly or eat at all! All i really have time for is snacking. Anyway, I will be finished by June 1st and I have to go to a wedding on July 6th. In that space of time can I lose a few pounds and tone up even a little bit?! I wanna work on my tummy and upper arms. Oh and I'm not a member of a gym (too expensive where I live). I'm not looking for anything drastic, just to look a bit better than I do now! After the wedding I'm gonna do the weight loss thing properly, but that's then, and I need a quick fix problem for the wedding!

    Just eat veggies and fruit, no artificial stiff, no sugar, no oil, no meat, no fat, no starch...so no potato, pasta or rice. And it will help with studying because when u eat less crap you will be able to feel less lazy and you just feel full of energy. Now as nice a junk taste stay away from it. Avoid salad dressing, make your own with basalmic vinegar ( cider vinegar) a drop of olive oil if u wish and some salt, pepper n mixed herbs. for protein have at least two egg whites a day or treat yourself to chicken fillettes with no skin one day a week.

    Its tough because junk food taste good, esp when u are studying.

    Here are some great tips. Don't starve yourself! Lots of people think thats the answer but it really isn't. Also eat smaller portions. People often feel like they should finish what's on their plate. But don't! Always stop when you feel full. Eat slowly so your body can tell you when to stop. Go swimming a lot too. Swimming for 2 hours will make you lose up to 5 pounds! Go for a 30 minute swim 4 times a week and it will really help. As for toning the stomach-I will attach a link that explains 3 different types to help tone up. You must do all of them for the full effect. For arms-make your own weights! It's easier than you think. Grab some heavy cans of food, of something like that and use them like weights! I have also attached a link with some good exercises. Stick to very healthy food-particularly watery ones such as lettuce, celery, radishes etc. to help lose weight. All these things will make an effect in 1 month. Good luck!

    Without wishing to seem impolite Type ' weight loss ' into the search for questions box and you will see the answers to the 20 questions like yours that clutter ' Answers ' every day, together with their standard answers.

    Type in also ' Answers swamped with weight loss questions!?' and you will see what regular contributors thing of this problem.

    As far as weight loss is concerned I will give my stock answer I am afraid, however it is interesting to see how close this is ( I have been using it for over 2 months), to a recent paper from University of California. They did a meta-analysis of all the work on weight loss over the past few years. ( summary) It showed that 2/3 of people who diet yo-yo to a higher weight, none of the faddy diets of diet pills work and that rapid weight loss doubles heart attack risk!

    They seemed to suggest the only hope was modest calorie reduction + EXERCISE.

    I have to admit I have a 'stock' answer for this question, since if you look it appears 20-30 times every day!!!

    Type 'guaranteed weight loss' into google, you will find 1 1/2 million sites!

    Look around you if ANY of these things worked would we be getting so overweight?

    We are what we eat, but we are at least as much what we don't do. Calorie intakes in 1900 and 1950 were higher than they are now, we just don't use them up!

    Eat a balanced diet with plenty of fruit and veg. Drop to about 1,500 calories.

    Take a healthy amount of exercise 30-40 minutes of vigorous exercise per day 4-5 days a week. I hate to think what percentage of the UK population does that 2%? 5%?

    I have seen hundreds of questions with this same pattern :- I am fat, tell me where on line I can get this super diet or herbal/dangerous/illegal drug that I hear will fix it for me in 10 minutes without the need for me to get off the couch!

    No fixes pal , less in more out, its the only way!

    Make the snacks healthy ones! If that's all you have time for each carrots or celery etc instead of junk food snacks. Try to drink a lot of water everyday as that will also help you. When you do finish your finals spend the days before the wedding working your a*s off, go running, swimming whatever. Crash dieting is never advisable but just this once I would recommend cutting your calorie intake right down, cutting out anything starchy or containing high levels of carbs. Lean protein and salad with a lot of exercise and lots of water should give you a quick fix.

    Here's my Weight Loss Program through Body Building and Nutrition. It works!
If you want to lose weight, Don't Use Diet Pills. 
They are bad for you. Most of them are just a scam or they are addictive. Counting calories is a pain in the butt.  It will drive you nuts. But, losing weight is simple. You just have to do the right things. 
 Fad diets sometimes work but, you can be sure that at least 25% of the weight you lose will be muscle. Then when you stop the diet you will gain back all of the weight you lost but no muscle. So, you will have 25% more fat than you did before! Fad diets just
aren't worth the bother. 
 Fasting or skipping meals will teach your body that famine is about to happen and your body will begin to store more fat to get you through the next period when food is not available. 
 Here's a simple trick that can help you lose weight without doing anything else. Drink a litre of water as soon as you wake up in the morning and then drink two more throughout the day. You'll notice a difference the first month. 
 Here's a better way. For every pound of muscle that you add your body will burn 3000 calories (1lb) of fat every day. That means that just by having an extra pound of muscle on your body you will burn a pound of fat every day! So, add muscle! 
 This is the fastest way to add a pound of muscle. Squats and Pushups! You do them on alternate days; squats one day, pushups the next. And you do them SuperSlow style. That is, you do the easy part twice as slow as the hard part. That way you fatigue the muscles quickly. Then you rest the muscles for 48
hours which gives the body a chance to make new muscles. 
 Squats should be done with a wide stance and all the way to the floor. Pushups the with palms shoulder width apart and all the way to the floor, then all the way up. Use the full range of motion of the muscle group you are trying to develop.

    The idea is to tire the muscles out completely so do a set of squats until you can't do another, then rest for a couple of minutes and do it again. Do that 3 times and you're done for the day. The following day, don't do squats but do pushups. Do them the same way,
go down twice as slow as you come up. 
 You will lose weight fast, unless you add more junk food and fat to your diet. Instead, eat at least 5 to 7 different raw vegetables and fruits every day. Cut out anything that comes in a bag or package. Cut out all processed foods, soft drinks and sweets. Eat more grains and less red meat. Check out the Food Pyramid.

    If you seem like you could use some help studying talk to a doctor about Aderall or Ritalin. It'll speed up your studying by a lot, your concentration & your ability to absorb information. They also suppress your hunger & speed up your metabolism. This of course isn't an extremely healthy way to lose weight so you should definitely stop taking them after exams & drink lots of juices ( the actual fruits & vegetables juiced in your own machine, juice bar or at health food store). The juices will speed up your metabolism by a lot, make you look & feel healthier. As to toning up your arms from personal experience plain old push ups & crunches for your tummy realllyyy do work.

    I've tried many diets and couldn't make anything work. Since having my first child, I've been carrying around an extra 30 pounds. This diet just made sense and showed me that everything I was doing before was wrong and a waste of my time.

    Just stock up on healthy quick snacks like fruits, vegetables, and nuts. If you don't have time to cook just eat a little less than you normally would. Keep an eye on your portions.

    For exercise if you don't have time for 45 minutes to an hour of exercise try to squeeze in three 15 minute jogs/brisk walks throughout the day. Just go outside and move around.

    The Scarsdale Diet is great for losing weight quickly (on average a pound a day). Also, try sit-up and push-up (about twenty each) right before you go to bed. It'll help.
