God bless him and his family. May he rest in peace.

I spoke to Santana D via email a couple of days ago, I still can't believe he's gone. I wish I had a fraction of the class he did, he made me a better person just corresponding with him. We shared some great boxing stories. Stuff the media never gets wind of. He is with the Lord now, but somehow I still find myself typing this through blurring eyes. He and his family are in my prayers, his class and intellect will be missed but his mark has been left on those of us he touched.

Yahoo answers boxing site will never be the same without him. We all lost a brother and a role model with his passing. God blessed each and everyone of us who knew Santana D, he was a man who personified dignity and class. I never knew a more knowledgeable boxing pundit. He will be truly missed, and I thank God for the short time I interacted with him.

He and his family will remain in my prayers.

I am stunned and saddened to hear this. Can someone tell me how it happened? I had talked to him by email and i never knew anything was wrong with him unless i missed something. Santana was one of the classiest guys that i've ever had the privlige of communicating with. I am deeply saddened. We had just started emailing each other a few weeks ago. I learned so much from his great boxing knowledge and wisdom, and i had hoped to meet him one day because we're both from the Chicago area. Yahoo answers has lost one of it's best people ever. My prayers are with him and his family, and if anyone on here can find out more information, please email me. I am so stunned to learn of this that i am really at a loss for words. Santana touched me with his respect and kindness, and his boxing knowledge was second to none. He's one of those people that has had an impact on my life even though i never met him. He will be sorely missed by myself, and all the other people on here who respected him. God rest his soul. He was a good person.

the word has spread throughout yahoo {the king is dead} i read every single word that this man wrote here all of his best answers all of his answer's that didn't make it. he was a genius. how come those of you which he called and hailed as his brothers would allow someone to post here that called the king a liar and a coward? are you really his brothers? the man who went by the name of santana is gone and God bless him and his. but for those of you that he held in such high regard to even let this people breath the same air as you is insulting. long live the king.

My condolences to his family. He will sorely missed. He was a very good man and yes definetly knew his stuff when it came to boxing. This is very sad news to hear. Thanks Smitty! I agree. let us ring the championship bell for this fine man, boxing expert and top answerer. God Bless him and his family.

I can't focking believe it. WTF?! I talked to him a little over a week ago via e-mails. He even mentioned me in one of his last answers. I loved talking to him and us differing in opinions from time to time. He was SO intelligent, far more than I am. I am SO f'ing sad right now. I don't know what to say. I live 3 blocks from a church that started service 5 minutes ago, I am going to pray for him now. God Dammit. Why do the good ones die young when so many scumbags are free to rome the Earth?
