no dear, that's codependency.

love is treating another human being (and yourself) with dignity and respect for the simple fact that they exist. it is having the courage to do the right thing, even when it's not popular, so that you and the people you care about can thrive and be happy. it's accepting yourself and others for who you/they are without trying to change them. it's deciding to cut toxic, hurtful people from your life because you know you deserve better, no matter how you 'feel' about those people. it's being patient with yourself and others, it's doing small, kind things 'just because' for yourself and others, it's setting boundaries for yourself and letting others know in a firm but respectful way what those boundaries are; even when those people may harrass you for having limits. it's forgiving yourself and others when mistakes are made, because mistakes are made, but it's also knowing when enough is enough in a relationship. it's doing what is best, not what is easiest in a situation.

that's what i've learned about love in 30 years.

Love is a hormone that acts like a narcotic. It is essential other wise nobody would have children because they are a lot of work. So its that time of the month and your stoned again big deal.

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

A chemical reaction without certain equation but always results into adorable feelings.

at any time, any place, people can fall in love with each other. love is that feeling where you would die for someone to protect them. give your own life just to save them. in my opinion, if you don't feel that way about someone, then you're not in love.
