What is potassium permanganate made from?

Is potassium a type of stone? or get it from the ground? Where can I get it from the natural world (out in wilderness)?

What is permanganate? Is that a plant? a chemical?

    KMnO4 is only safe in very dilute solutions.

    I looked it up. This compound can only be made industrially. Try another oxidizing agent. There are many other oxidizing reagents available.
