Question

i dont understand the song, throughout the verses he talks about how good she is to him and how much he loves her and how he thinks its for real, but the the chorus goes
"Take a look at my girlfriend
She's the only one I got (ba ba da da)
Not much of a girlfriend
I never seem to get a lot (ba ba da da, ba ba da da)"

so im confused, does he love her or not, its a mixed message! its driving me nuts!

or it will bug me forever!

Have you watched the video?  It will clear things up.  The video shows him going from girlfriend to girlfriend, as in he thinks he's in love but it never works out.

I don't think the original version of the song had all those bits about how wonderful she is.  I hated it back then and it's still super annoying.

i think that song is about a girl friend or something 
i only herd the song 2 times and i dont like it

Its about how cupid has a choke hold on him.Basically he is in love.
