Which team was better?
The 1999-2004 Sacramento Kings or the current day Phoenix Suns. Also, which team was funner to watch? I'd pick Sacramento, but I'm also very biased because I'm a Kings fan. I think that because Steve Nash is the only guy on the Suns that gets things going, compared to Sacramento, where everyone distributed, Sac was more fun to watch. The Suns score more points per game, but the league scores more on average than it did when the Kings were good.
Ya that was 2001-02. That team was the best of all those Kings teams, even though 2002-03 was just as good, but thats when Webber got his knee injury;we had a good shot that year too until he got hurt against Dallas.

Comparing the match-ups, and the abilities at their times together. Divac-Stoudamire, Webber-Marion, Peja-Diaw, Christie-Bell, Bibby-Nash, Jackson-Barbosa. I would love to see that match-up. I would say the Suns would come out with the win. 4-3.

It would have been interesting.
The Kings passed just as well as the Suns do now. The bigs on the Kings were more talented than the Suns have. I think the Suns as a team shoot a little better, but it would have been close. Bobby Jackson vs Leandro Barbosa? Bibby vs Nash? Stoudemire vs a healthy Webber?
I think the Suns would have an advantage with Marion because I don't think most teams have an answer for him. The Kings could counter with a young Gerald Wallace defensively, but the offense wouldn't be there.
I think the Suns would win the series, unless the Kings could suceed in slowing the pace down so Webber and Divac could do their thing inside.

Phoenix Suns are better, but the Kings were way funner to watch definitely. Divac, Stojackavich, Webber, Bibby, Christie, Bobby Jackson of the bench. That lineup was awesome.

I think I'd have to say the Kings. They never lived up to their potential and couldn't get past the Lakers in the playoffs though. They dominated the regular season only to dissapoint when it mattered. If the Suns win the title this year I might have to change my answer.

I like the Suns but the year when robert horry crushed your dreams the kings could beat the suns now.

The kings were much of a funner team too watch, It reminded me of the chicago bulls back in the day.
