Harley exhaust?
I have a Road King Custom and would like to change exhaust to give it a deeper sound. I like the low rummble of the factory system, not really into changing the exhaust so that it cracks when taking off strong, but would like it deeper and and a bit louder. I hear Rinehart are good, but looking around.
Anyone know any good web sites to learn some of this stuff. Also, any advice on what you have and how you like it would be cool.

vance and hines or rienhart's are 2 very popular brands. some like the true dual rienharts on their road kings, some prefer the bark of the vance and hines. go to harley chat group and look around. http://www.harleychatgoup.com/

That's a good question with a lot of answers as mentioned above screaming eagle is a good product but there is a lot to choose from out there I have two into one super trap on my v-rod i'm real happy with them and you can tune the sound to what you like, Bub and joker also have some nice sounding pipes none are very cheap so if I were you look around a bit and listen to other bikes, never met a biker yet who would not talk about pipes good luck

First of all check to see if the bike is carborated or fuel injected makes a big difference on what you can and cannot do. I have the Vance and Hines Straight Shots with anti revision cones, Simple but very effective for the sound and look I want.

I have vance & hines on my wide glide and they sound great. Not too loud and a good deep sound.
If you drill holes in the baffles it will sound like you have a small air compressor stuck in your pipes,They won't sound good like that.

rineharts...much better sound in my opinion. vance and hines are a bit too loud for my taste

drill a few 1/8 inch holes in the baffle. Be sure to check the plugs and if it's too lean fatten up the jets...........

screaming eagle pipes sound good, just remember to rejet the carb.

depends on if it is fuel injected or carb. You have to be carefull. consult with your dealer first.
