CPU Change?

I went from a intel 3.2 HT 512kb L2 cache to a intel extreme 3.4 HT 512kb L2 2mb L3 cache and I do not notice any performace gain.I have 3gb of ram running dual channel and a NVidia 7800 gs oc series vidio card.WHY NO Difference?

    Markjem4 is right. Your upgrade is not so much that it will give dramatic frame rate (fps) increase in games. You will only notice the difference in benchmarks. Dramatic fps change is MORE noticeable w/ graphics card upgrade.

    You will only notice it when you run benchmarks.Check out "Futuremark"website.
