Haven't you heard that smoke follows beauty?

MMMMMMMMMM, BBQ Getting that BBQ joint flavor at home seems to be the "HOLY GRAIL" of most home cooks. Most of the other answers were good. However they didn't mention the cooking method. I do mine on the grill. My trick is to use wood chips (hickory is my favorite) They are cheap and do a great job. Just be sure NOT to smash them down (which causes flare ups and drains out their juices). Soak your chips for at least a 1/2 an hour and use them sparingly. Most people use too many and you end up with a bitter tree branch tasting burger. Unlike true BBQ burgers do best when seared so the low and slow method dosen't work too well here. Good luck and happy eating. Rusty=)

I always heard it said that beauty is a smoke magnet...in your case this just might be true. Some follows beauty!

    This is called Sod's Law.

It's the same as when you are up a ladder painting your house and you have a cigarette in your mouth the ash always falls off into the open tin of paint.

Again, this is called Sod's Law.

So, if anybody should happen to meet this Sod, please ask him to change it.

    Thank you
