What does it mean to be a good friend?

A good friend is one who is there for you during the good times as well as the bad. You really find out who your friends are when your world falls to pieces. If you have ever read the story of JOB you come to realize that most people are not real your true friends. They are merely acquaintance and have no time for you in time of need. Somehow they manage to believe that your problems are all your own fault. It is that old blame the victum attitude.

To be a good friend means to be there for this person, even if you can't do anything. It's your presence and love that matters most.
