Have you ever had something of yours (lunch/drink) stolen from a work fridge?

we used to have a chick that would steal lunches. we finally made some ex-lax brownies and boy, did she get caught!

Yes. Several years ago at a job, my lunch was getting stolen quite frequently, 2-3 times a week. I used to always have some chocolate chip cookies in my lunch bag to snack on during the day. So after several weeks of this happening, I made some home made chocolate chip cookies "spiced" with Exlax....didn't take very long to find out who was the culprit.

Where I used to work once per month we would have a potluck dinner. This one time our manager had promised to make her special shrimp and pasta dish. We were all looking forward to it. When we all sat down to eat and the dish was uncovered she immediately noticed something was wrong with the shrimp and pasta dish... the shrimp was missing. Yep every last shrimp had been picked out of the dish and all that was left was pasta!! Talk about disappointed ok really she was **&&^%$$$^% OFF to say the least. We found out that there were other items being taken from the refrigerator such as cans of soda, frozen dinners, sandwiches turning into half of a sandwich, you get the idea. Anyway with a little detective work and our own "Sting Operation" we found out that it was the housekeeping crew when they would pretend to be cleaning the break room and they were actually cleaning out our lunches! It turned out that they were not taking the items because they were hungry and needed food, they would actually eat their lunch and them chomp on ours as a snack. Anyway case solved and they got in trouble for stealing in the workplace. Our manager did make the salad again and it was very yummy and did include the shrimp.

We used to have a food theif til I put some exlax in the chocolate covered cherries. Haven't had a problem since. And now everybody knows who was doin it. He don't work there anymore.
