Why do people want to know which animal would win a fight over another?

Humans are weird.. and i agree with you, but also, all humans(almost) want to know who's the best - lion or tiger; cat or dog etc etc, because they have a specific curiosity.. they really want to know who's the best, and after that, some people try to beat the winner .. others just think that it's a good way to spend their time.. it's fun for them.. i think its just a capriccio..

just look at history. death fights in the coliseum's. fights between animals and humans. movies with fights. fights in hockey. boxing, pride and ufc. fights in highschool everyone crowds them.

fact is its human nature that we are like light to a moth when it comes to violence. its really pathetic but its true. although i admit i love boxing because there is grace and strategy but violence is pretty much instinct for us just as much as sex, love, and dependence is

in the case of males (in which i presume this question is mostly directed) the easiest way to make comparisons between fitness or strength or who is better, is to see which would win in a fight.

I think they have nothing better to do! Why would they even want animals to figh in the first place...It's just stupid!
