It might soothe it and make some of the swelling go down but other than that take some meds!

eating ice cream will in no way get rid of a sore throat--but it will relieve the pain, and swelling---it is the same as a sprained ankle---putting ice on the injured are reduces swelling and helps ease the pain

It tends to make you feel better because you are eating something that is exhilarating to your taste buds and it does numb the pain with the cold. The question is what flavor do you want to help cure your sore throat.?

No this is not true. It may feel good because it is cold but that is about it. To relieve a sore throat use anti-inflammatory meds and numbing throat sprays,

Fruit pops always help my sore throats. I always get the ones that are real fruit.

depends on the flavour. i mean, if you have sore throat and have chocolate ice cream, it will worsen it. best is to stick to plain water. lots of it.

ice-cream is good yes ----but popcicles are better as they are colder and yes they both take the swelling down
