What is Ramsgate like to live in?

With the new rail link to London opening in 2009 is the town set for a resurgence or is it still going to be stuck in its faded glory days?

    I've lived in Ramsgate all my life (37 years!). It's just getting better and better, with new developments springing up all over the place.

    The harbour has a wonderful, continental atmosphere with many pavement bars and cafes.

    There's plenty of good restaurants too in the harbour/town area.

    Think you would love it.

    I had friends who lived there & I lived there for a few weeks. Everybody was pleasant, there was no trouble it was fairly clean. I think the link will do good as it will bring in more tourists, which can do good for the community
