wrong, humans invent it then humans should test it, not animals, why should innocent souls suffer for things that we don't even need, like more shampoo products and new make-up etc... you wouldn't like it if someone took your dog or cat or any other pet that you own and started pouring all these chemicals on them so why should we take any animal from mother nature, as they belong to her just as our pet's belong to us, it's wrong, it is unnatural, unfriendly to the earth and is hurting mother nature

wrong.
i can't understand how people can think it's right to put animals through so much unnecessary pain and suffering, so they can look good. animal testing on cosmetics is just oure evil.
i don't agree with animal testing for medicine, but i understand it is done, and without it, loads of people would die.
however, if i was terminally ill, i personally think i would rather not have the drugs that animals have been killed for in order for me to live a tiny bit longer. but thats just my opinion.
i think murderers and people who have committed awful crimes should be used as test subjects, to be honest.

Wrong. All my health and beauty supplies have to say no animal testing or I won't buy them. If we stop buying animal tested products the companies will be force to find another way to test them.

Testing on animals first is essential.
How many of these animal rights activists would agree to being used as a guinea pig instead of using a rabbit. Not bloody many I'll bet.

I think if they are testing cancer treatments or something that will benefit mankind yes, but spraying hairspary or other chemicals into an animals eyes is just so cruel, they already know its not good for the eyes, we don't need to know how bad, its bad, we get the point.

wrong wrong wrong wrong wrong and even more wrong how can a scientist tell that a shade of lipstick is going to suit people by trying it on an orangutan the chemicals they test on them burn them and disfigure them they are treated abominably most people who own a pet would rather not let it out when it's cold how would they feel to know it's bieng tortured in the name of science and what do they find out they find out how a chinchilla reacts to something it may have an entirely different effect on humans so i repeat wrong wrong wrong wrong wrong

It depends.
If they are testing new drugs that could save human lives or food products that could cause cancer or other diseaases, I think animal testing is a necessary evil.
When they do it to test cosmetics or other non-essential tests, it's just sadism.

for medical research then i am in total agreement. my daughter would be dead if it wasn't for the drugs she was given in hospital when she was seriously ill. as for vanity purposes testing on animals for cosmetics is totally unacceptable. it serves no purpose.

If it is for make up then no of course not, we don't need make up. But if it is a life or death situation then yes. I mean you would rather you parents lived than your pets, well you should any way.
