What is the worst present you have ever received, and what did you do with it?

Hangers. I actually got hangers one Christmas from a grandmother. I used them. I was 25 I think. She was 85 or so. It became a family joke for the next few years. It turned out she was getting senile. She saw them on an infomercial and bought them. My Aunt (her daughter) thought it was histerical and then she got me a silk shirt one year that was about 3 sizes too small. I wore it for a family photo and then emailed it to her and said "thanks for the shirt, I put it on Nana's hanger".

The worst present i got was a mens shaving kit. But i am a 16 year old girl. I gave it to my dad.

I got a christmas pressie two years ago from a friend; it was a fake fur stole, PURPLE, tied at the front with a big purple bow. She made the classic mistake of buying something for me that SHE would like to wear. I never wore it; I don't go to that sort of "do" that would need formal dressing. Once, when I was visiting her, I took it with me in my overnight bag, so she could see I had it with me, as I said to her" in case we go anywhere posh".

A cardigan that looked like a dog had thrown up on it from my ex mother in law one christmas. It got put in the bottom of a blanket box and forgotten about. I think i gave it to charity when i left my ex.

A used radio with a broken cassette door from my Stingy Taurus Dad on Christmas. I was good too!

He later smashed it in anger, when he couldn't find his nice radio because i always had it.

Oh, and a plain Golden band from my then wife,as a gift when she knew I wanted a golden braid for our 5th anniversary. I upgraded her diamon ring and added two more stones one on each side so don't ask me what did I give her!

My husband gave me a set of pyrex casserole dishes for Christmas a couple of years after we got married.

I don't cook. He does all the cooking so basically he was giving them to himself.

I kept them in their box & gave them to a workmate as a wedding present the summer after.

Got given a Next Detox set from my sister - I smoke and drink !!!!

I kept the oil burner and gave the other bits and pieces to the charity shop - knew they would get more out of them than me.

a few years ago I received a porcelain faced clown with yarn for hair and a body i put it on my wall around the corner so I cant see it. I was thinking of putting it on eBay.

lets start by letting you know that i have a stepmom. iam married she could have got something for the housethat was nice. she gives my husband a nice shirt and gave me a ugly dinorsor nightlite it was so ugly she didnt put much thought into that gift itwas ugly idid say ugly i took the light part out put some dirt in it and put a flower in it and set outside and let my dog use it as his toilet.
