What does the president do with all those jerseys he gets from the champ teams that visits him?

The other day I saw on ESPN that the Indianapolis Colts came to visit George Bush and gave him a Bush 43 jersey so I was wondering what the president does with those? I never saw any of them ever wear those while on vacation or any other time so do they throw them out or is it a symbolic thing and they give the jersey back to the team after the picture is taken?

They actually get donated to different charities. There is no reason the president would hold on to them, for what use? So they get donated.

Really, not too much is done with the jerseys, which are given to the president as a gift. They are typically boxed up and either 1) taken by the prez after he leaves office 2) ultimately end up in the Prez library (not on display, but housed in some way) 3) may be loaned to a hall of fame or some other institution for a display.
