He came from Catalan. His work was highly surreal. Some of it was extraordinarily beautiful.
He married Gala who posed for many paintings.
In my opinion he was a genius.

Salvador Dali was born in 1904 in Spain. He spent his life as a painter, sculptor, graphic artist, and designer. He utilized a lot of different artistic techniques, but finally settled as a surrealist. His talent for self-publicity rapidly made him the most famous representative of the Surrealist movement.
