Raising volume for Motorola i870?

Is there a way to increase the volume (past the factory settings) so I can here people better? even with the volume as high as it goes its just not loud enough.

I have heard of doing things like this as well as making the ringer louder stuff like that.

    Sorry, but there is not a way to do that. I've seen the programming for the i870 along with other Nextel and Boost phones, and there is nothing to further increase the volume.
