how can i put my hair up with out it crimping or folding where the tie is?

whenever i put my hair up i cant wear it down again wihtout washing my hair. i go to school two days a week so i need a way to put my hair up wed. without it screwing my hair up for thursday so i dont have to re wash it. any ideas?

    if you put your hair up in a tie when its dry it shouldnt leave a really noticeable crimp or you can try using ties that dont have metal, they're gentler on hair. or try putting your hair up in a bun as that wont leave a ponytail hair holder mark or instead of a hair tie you could use a large piece of ribbon or an elastic hairband as that wouldnt leave a mark at all

    i have tis problem too, and find using a ribbon makes a difference but as my hair is long and thick this isnt as secure as when i use clasps and hair grips, you can gather most of it from the front and around your ears and secure it in a clasp, then take the rest in sections and keep in place with grips, or brush into a pony tail, no band, just twist and grip from underneath with a clip that you squeeze open and springs closed, the kind with "teeth" Gosh its hard to explain these things here but i hope you get the idea
