    And for anyone interested it is the LAST COMPAQ I ever plan on owning.

    I have had two of their boxes of JUNK and I am finally cured. If it was a bit heavier I could use it as a boat anchor but as it is, it is too bad to even serve as a bad example.

    Sorry, I am not a particularly happy camper at the moment. Next time I think I'll buy a chisel and hammer and write on rocks.

    I scaled back a bit and went with a semi-rugged at $2000—but it only weighs 3.6Lbs, the Toughbook Y2.
